I am a California-based ecologist and photographer. Born and raised in the woods in Northern California, naturalism came early to me. Over a decade ago, I began photographing the world around me, and I fell in love with documenting the things I found most fascinating. I graduated from UC Davis in 2017 with a degree in Evolution, Ecology, & Biodiversity, and I plan to pursue further education in the field of ecology.
I'm currently capturing wildlife on California's central coast, but much of my content is from South Africa's stunning Western Cape, where from 2014-2017 I conducted research on elephant behavior. Part of this research goes hand-in-hand with one of my photography collections: The Human-Animal Bond.
Photography allows me to document the extraordinary animals I've studied and the incredible places my research has taken me.
